Sophia and Florian came from Germany and decided to elope on the beach. I was there for a very short time and took some pics of the happy couple before they jetted back home. Congratulations to Sophia and Florian.

I happened to be in Johannesburg when I remembered Robyn had asked for an engagement shoot. I called her up and told her I was available, so we met at her local nature reserve, and we did a wonderful engagement shoot on the hillside overlooking the CBD.

Sally is a kind soul with a quirky style. She had her hair dyed pink and wore a Marie Antoinette dress. She and Jacques were already officially married, so their ceremony consisted of just exchanging rings after arriving on horseback. What a lovely way to profess their love for each other.

I hadn’t shot an engagement at a dam before, but since it was close to where Jacqui and Jason lived, I decided to give it a go. They brought a blanket and some goodies to hold, and we had a lot of fun. Afterwards, we took some moody low-light shots at an underground car park.

Elaine must be one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. She and her family welcomed me like one of their own, and I felt valued and welcomed the whole day. It was a wonderful wedding, and Damian and Elaine had a wonderful time during the photo shoot even though it was raining.

Sunette and Eduardo got engaged earlier that day, and to mark the occasion, they decided on a spur-of-the-moment photo shoot. I received a hasty call from Eduardo, who asked me if I was available the same day for a shoot. I hurriedly put my batteries on charge and met them later. The sunset was great, and they were so fun to work with.

Roxy and Gareth said they wanted to include horses in their engagement shoot, so I set about finding the perfect location for them. We were blessed with a beautiful sunset and scenery to match.
