I met Melissa and Terrence early on the beach to catch the sunrise. We also managed to dodge the crowds. They loved their engagement photos, and told me they were so glad they got up earlier than usual.

Rachel and Shaun’s wedding was on the lagoon beach at a river lodge. The scene was set for a spectacular day, and then the rain came. They didn’t complain at all and continued to enjoy their wedding as if it was bright and sunny. It must be that they’re used to it after living in the UK for a number of years!

Paige and Jared were a joy to shoot for. They smiled from beginning to end of their engagement shoot and were easy to work with. Summerveld provided the perfect backdrop for the shoot, and the skies provided us with the most magnificent light.

Zenilla and Stanton had a double wedding. First up was their Christian wedding at their local church, and then they moved on to their Hindu wedding at the following venue. It was a long day, but it really helped that the couple were so easy to work with. Congratulations to Zenilla and Stanton!

Elserie and Barend’s engagement shoot involved an ocean at sunrise followed by martial arts. The wedding, however, was a bit tamer as it was mostly over before dark. The ceremony was in the forest, and the reception was in the main hall. They had so much fun, and it was a privilege to be a part of it.

I met Sarah and James at sunrise at their favourite spot. We did a few sunrise photos, followed by a walkaround. It was a lovely morning with a fun couple!

Sam and Denver had an intimate wedding at their local venue, with just their nearest and dearest in attendance to witness the occasion. It was a heartfelt wedding ceremony and reception at a stunning venue.

Keshani and Neil’s wedding was fabulous. It was at the stunning Lynton Hall on the KZN south coast. They spent a lot of time and effort on their décor, and it added so much to the spirit of the day. They were young, and fun, and real, and it was a pleasure to shoot their wedding.

Anita loved her engagement shoot, she was all smiles, while Heng was a dutiful fiancé and didn’t mind having photos too. We took a walk through the mangroves and then down onto the beach. It was a wonderful shoot.

Jess wanted to get married in a castle, like a real princess, and she wanted the colour scheme to be purple. It’s so many girls’ dreams, and she made hers come true. I felt honoured to be a part of her and Chris’s big day.
