It was such a lovely day in the Drakensberg with Nicole and Thomas. The backdrop of the mountainous landscape was perfect for some stunning photos, and their reception contained some heartfelt speeches. Congratulations to Nicole and Thomas!

I hadn’t been to Sweethome wedding venue before, but I’d heard about it, so I was excited to see what awaited. The chapel is stunning, with big windows, and the gardens are immaculately landscaped. The reception hall was also great. Reyna and Krinolin were really easy to work with and enjoyed the wedding day from beginning to end.

Alex and Grant were on holiday when Grant decided it was the perfect opportunity to pop the question. The following day I got the call to do an engagement shoot for them. Alex was so happy to be in the place she dreamed about, and with her best friend.

Sarah-Jayne and Robert's wedding at Zimbali was one of my favourites for the year. Their guests travelled from all over the world to be there, with some from Canada, USA, Dubai, UK and Europe. Zimbali provided the backdrop, and this stunning couple did the rest.

Tarryn and Melchior had the most wonderful wedding at iNsingizi Lodge. We worked hard to find some colour on the game reserve, but I spotted some wonderful pink flowers and asked them to stand on the other side of them while I crouched down and got some shots. Congrats to Tarryn and Melchior!

Carly and Jarrod went from the USA to Jarrod’s home country to get married, and their families were happy to join them on the other side of the pond. They were full of fun, and it was a stunning ceremony on the bank of the lagoon.

Stephani and Blake wanted to do their engagement shoot at their favourite spot at the Kloof Gorge. We had a stunning sunset, and they were full of fun. Stephani told me during the shoot that she was a marathon runner, which brought with it a whole new level of respect.

Tarryn and Melchior are two of the kindest people I’ve met. They loved having their engagement photo taken, and they were up for anything I asked of them. It’s always a treat to spend an hour or two out in the open, and it always helps when there’s a lovely couple to spend it with.

Mayuri and Kamlin had their traditional Hindu wedding ceremony in the garden at their favourite venue, followed by a quick photo shoot and the reception inside the main hall. It was a stunning day, and the couple were kind and down-to-earth. It was a pleasure to be a part of their big day.

Providence is one of my favourite venues, and Lara and Dylan’s wedding was stunning in every way. Lara was full of fun and couldn’t stop smiling, and her new husband, Dylan, was absolutely besotted. The golden sunset put the cherry on the top. What a wonderful day!
